We’ve all had to adapt to new realities, and APTN’s biggest annual celebration, APTN Indigenous Day Live, is no exception. This year’s production has been adapted to feature many of Turtle Island’s established and emerging Indigenous artists in a new and creative way.

In accordance with the most recent recommendations and directions from the federal and provincial health authorities, APTN Indigenous Day Live will feature a first-ever Winter Solstice edition.

Five one-hour pre-recorded broadcasts will bring together musicians, dancers, visual artists and designers from coast-to-coast-to-coast on all APTN channels. These artists and creators are writing our collective story in real time, honouring past and present struggles and paving the way for the brighter days ahead.

Our priority is the health and safety of our patrons, artists and volunteers and we support the efforts of Health Canada to mitigate and control transmission of COVID-19. We have been working hard over these past few months to create a safe virtual celebration that considers the well-being of our communities.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
